Ideally the hair needs to be 3-4 weeks growth.  The longer the better and no shorter than a grain of rice.

Nope, if trimming is needed this will done during your appointment.

For best results I would recommend every 4/5 weeks.

Yes of course you, just wear a fresh tampon and your appointment can proceed.

Not as much as you'd expect and I can hostly say the most common feedback I get from new clients is that it was nowhere near as bad they thought it would be.
